What’s your “Level of Concern?”
“Panic on the brain, world has gone insane.” The band Twenty One Pilots released a new song on Thursday April 9 titled “Level of Concern”. The lead singer, Tyler Joseph, said in a tweet earlier that week that a portion of the money made from the song will benefit the charity Crew Nation.
Crew Nation is a global relief charity that benefits live music crews. Due to COVID-19, the concerts and live music have obviously come to a standstill. However, the crews that bring these concerts to life rely on live music to make a living. On top of funds from other organizations, 5 million dollars has been donated by other artists and fans.
The intention of the song was not for publicity, but it was for everyone to find a sense of relief within this time. The world is a strange place right now, but just having that small bit of hope is enough to pull us, as a nation, through the time of crisis.
